Hospital Admissions
While FDR
does not believe in inappropriate admissions, we do believe
that if someone needs to be admitted then they should be
admitted. Below is data from 2 hospitals that FDR acquired
and admission trends. In both cases FDR replaced a group
where all full time physicians were not emergency medicine
trained.
The first 3 years reflect the prior group 1997-99. The years
2001-2003 reflect
FDR.
The year 2000 was a mixed year with FDR starting in July.
